What the score means
It measures lexical request coverage, exact multi-word phrase matches and simple answer-format cues. It is intentionally not an “AI ranking score.” It tells you whether the language on a page overlaps with the language in real prompts you chose to collect.
This distinction matters because live AI engines can surface very different source sets for the same question. A page can be a strong answer to a prompt and still never enter a particular engine’s candidate set.
Use your own AI prompt history as research
PromptMatch is useful for writers, marketers, founders and researchers who want to check whether a page answers the questions they genuinely ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude. Instead of starting from a synthetic keyword list, you can use your own opted-in prompts as the test set.
Privacy-first by design
Capture is off by default. PromptMatch stores prompt text only after you enable it, under an anonymous collector key. It does not collect AI answers, full conversations, account names, email addresses, cookies, passwords or browsing history. Prompts expire after 180 days and can be deleted at any time.
